What's the difference between Ginger Beer and Ginger Ale?
Ginger Beer was originally fermented from ginger, while Ginger Ale is a ginger-flavored soda. Today, the difference lies mainly in taste: Ginger Beer has a stronger, spicier ginger flavor, while Ginger Ale has a milder, sweeter taste.
Is there alcohol in Ginger Beer?
Originally made by fermenting fresh ginger (turning sugar into alcohol), Ginger Beer used to be alcoholic. Today, however, Ginger Beer production has evolved, and the majority of Ginger Beers are alcohol-free, like our Ginger Beer Spicy Hysope for example!
Why do we say Ginger Beer?
